Matthew Austin
Chief Executive Officer

Matthew Austin was appointed CEO of OMI in April 2007 and has been involved in the medical device and healthcare industry for over 14 years.
Mr Austin was previously employed by US multi-national medical device and Fortune 500 Company- Stryker Corporation (NYSE SYK). Rising through the sales channel to executive management to be General Manager (WA) overseeing the Orthopaedic Implants, Trauma and MedSurg Divisions during which he held a position on the Stryker South Pacific Leadership team.
Mr. Austin’s former executive roles focused on strategic leadership, profit and loss, operations and executive management responsibilities involving large teams and significant sales budgets.
Mr Austin obtained his Master of Business Administration from Bond University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. His experience in the medical device industry brings a wealth of executive leadership and management skills to OMI.
